Project Accountant – Telecoms Sector
Location: Dublin 4
Salary: Up to €80,000 + Benefits
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Accountant to join a leading organisation based in Dublin 4.
This role is ideally suited to a finance professional with a strong background in the telecoms sector and proven experience supporting large-scale projects and capital expenditure programmes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in project financial management, CAPEX reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial reporting and analysis across telecoms-related projects
- Monitor and report on CAPEX spend and project performance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Partner with project managers and operational teams to track project costs and timelines
- Prepare monthly management accounts and project reports
- Conduct variance analysis and provide commercial insights
- Ensure accurate cost allocation and financial controls across projects
- Support audit and compliance requirements
- Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong previous experience within the telecoms sector is essential
- Proven project accounting experience with exposure to large-scale projects
- Strong CAPEX experience is essential and must be clearly detailed on your CV
- Experience working closely with project and operational stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
- Strong Excel and finance systems experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
