Production Operative
We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join an established manufacturing operation in Bandon, Co. Cork.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous production, manufacturing, warehouse or industrial experience who is looking for a stable role with training and opportunities to progress.
The Role
As a Production Operative, you will support the day-to-day running of the production operation, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
Key responsibilities:
- Operating and monitoring production machinery
- Supporting the production process and keeping lines running efficiently
- Carrying out quality checks
- Moving materials and finished products around the site
- Assisting with loading and unloading
- Following health & safety and production procedures
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards
- Completing production records and paperwork
- Reporting any equipment, quality or production issues
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets
Requirements
- Previous production or manufacturing experience is desirable
- Warehouse or industrial experience will also be considered
- Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
- Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts
- Good understanding of health & safety
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
