About Your New Job
As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily production operations across all manufacturing areas.
- Leading, motivating and developing production teams to achieve operational targets.
- Ensuring production schedules are delivered on time while maintaining quality, efficiency and safety standards.
- Monitoring productivity, labour utilisation and production KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Working closely with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and New Product Development teams.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, quality systems, health & safety legislation and company procedures.
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing performance.
- Supporting employee training, development and performance management.
What Skills You Need
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Production Manager or in a similar manufacturing leadership role.
- Experience within food, beverage, nutrition or FMCG manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational, planning and problem-solving abilities.
- A solid understanding of food safety, quality systems and health & safety requirements.
- The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
