About Your New Job
- Operate assembly equipment to complete specified tasks.
- Prepare components for manual assembly.
- Operate PCB cleaning and baking equipment.
- Use torque tools for the assembly of specific fasteners.
- Perform manual assembly of PCBs and some mechanical hardware according to formal assembly procedures, process procedures, assembly drawings, and SOPs.
- Handle typical components such as printed circuit cards and electronic components.
- Apply adhesives and conformal coatings.
- Conduct prototype assembly work under engineering control.
- Set up equipment and carry out process-related measurements as required.
- Perform operator machine maintenance as specified.
- Inspect and rework PCBs and components as per established criteria.
- Use specified safety equipment during maintenance.
- Complete all necessary production-related documentation.
- Use the ERP system to transact work orders.
- Adhere to all necessary requirements relating to personal tool maintenance, anti-static precautions, safety, and housekeeping.
What Skills You Need
- Knowledge of IPC7711/IPC7721 and IPC J-Standard and their application (Desirable)
- Proven track record of commitment to both quality and production goals.
- Positive, flexible approach with good interpersonal skills.
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience/knowledge of assembly functions is preferable.
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving capabilities.
- Good time management skills.
- Personable, able to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of people.
