About Your New Employer
We are seeking experienced Manufacturing or Process Technicians to join a global medical technology company developing innovative products that improve the lives of patients with cardiovascular disease. Experience in electronic troubleshooting, PLCs or automated equipment.
We are not in a position to provide visa sponsorship for these jobs.
There are four jobs available:
- x2 Evening Shift - Working hours: 14:30 - 22:30, Mon - Fri. 20% shift allowance
- x2 Night Shift - Working hours: 22:30 - 06:30am - Sun - Thurs. 30% shift allowance
About Your New Job
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the core production team responsible for resolving equipment, yield and process-related issues and implementing corrective and preventative actions to prevent repeat problems.
You will:
- Work with Manufacturing Engineers to develop, troubleshoot, standardise and improve production methods and procedures.
- Troubleshoot electronic systems, PLCs, electronic hardware and equipment interfaces.
- Support the introduction of new production methods, including equipment design, component sourcing and technical documentation.
- Design, specify, manufacture, test and document production equipment and process improvements.
- Perform equipment qualifications and validations, including technical report writing.
- Maintain critical spare parts inventories to help minimise equipment downtime.
- Take responsibility for preventative maintenance procedures within an assigned process or production area.
- Work with personnel and external vendors when required.
- Communicate any environmental, health or safety concerns to your Manager.
What Skills You Need
- A HETAC Level 6 qualification in a relevant technical discipline.
- At least two years’ relevant technical or manufacturing experience.
- Medical device manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
- Strong technical capabilities, with experience in electronic troubleshooting, PLCs or automated equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A proactive approach and the initiative to investigate and resolve technical issues.
