About Your New Job
As a Process Technician, you will play a key role in the day-to-day production of yoghurt and butter products, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
In this role, you will:
- Operate and monitor dairy processing equipment including pasteurisation, homogenisation, fermentation, and filling systems
- Control critical production parameters such as temperature, timing, and ingredient ratios to achieve consistent product quality
- Perform quality checks (pH, temperature, viscosity, appearance) and ensure compliance with HACCP and GMP standards
- Carry out CIP (Clean-in-Place) procedures and maintain hygiene across production areas
- Operate butter churning and packing equipment
- Record production data accurately and report any faults or deviations
- Support light maintenance and contribute to continuous improvement across the production process
This is a hands-on role with real responsibility for product quality and process performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What Skills You Need
- Experience in dairy or food production/manufacturing
- Understanding of processing operations such as pasteurisation and fermentation
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
- Ability to work with PLC-controlled equipment and perform basic troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
