Our client, a world-renowned, multi-national tech company are looking for a Privacy Specialist to join their team in Cork. This is a full-time, hybrid, 6-month contract role that involves working for the Privacy and Compliance team.

The ideal candidate is efficient, organised, as experience working in a fast-paced environment and has high attention to detail. Confidentiality and compliance with company data protection and privacy principles is a must.

 

About Your New Job

    Key Role Tasks

    • Working with Privacy on the handling of requests from customers and employees for their personal data. 
    • Searching specified HR systems, as well as reaching out to relevant employees to retrieve appropriate information to include in responses.
    • Responding to standard-level requests with appropriate pre-prepared response templates.
    • Escalating non-standard and exigent requests to appropriate management level.
    • Recording and reporting on all requests, responses, and exceptional issues arising in relevant database
    • Recording and pulling reports on all requests, responses on the database
    • Responding to standard requests with appropriate pre prepared responses

    What Skills You Need

    • Fluent in English and a second language - verbal and written 
    • Previous experience in an admin role – specifically handling high volume emails.
    • A background in legal studies.
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
    • Experience working with computers – iPad/iMac is a bonus.

    What’s On Offer?

    • Excellent salary starting at €20.22 p/h
    • 39-hour week Monday – Friday
    • Hybrid
