The business delivers a wide range of projects across Dublin and surrounding areas and has built a strong reputation for quality and reliability. The company operates through three integrated divisions: mechanical building services, electrical building services, and maintenance services, providing a fully coordinated approach to project delivery. They are now seeking an experienced Plumber to join their mechanical services team, working on a mix of installation and maintenance projects across commercial and residential sites. About Your New Job

As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining plumbing and heating systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role involves working from drawings, testing and fault-finding systems, and carrying out repairs to ensure full compliance with current regulations. You will collaborate closely with site teams and other trades, while strictly adhering to health and safety requirements and maintaining a safe, efficient working environment.

 

What Skills You Need

The ideal candidate must possess the following skills:

  • Plumbing Installation & Maintenance: Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments, in compliance with Irish standards and regulations.
  • Drawing & Specification Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret plumbing and mechanical drawings, schematics, and specifications to carry out work accurately.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Strong knowledge of Irish Health and Safety legislation (including the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005) and commitment to safe working practices on site.
  • Testing & Fault Diagnosis: Competent in testing plumbing and heating systems, diagnosing faults, and carrying out effective repairs using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Codes & Regulations: Familiarity with Irish plumbing, building, and water regulations, ensuring all works meet current compliance and industry standards.
  • Relevant Trade Qualification: Qualified Plumber (e.g. National Craft Certificate / QQI Level 6 or equivalent).
  • Site Requirements: Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates.

 

What’s on Offer

Successful applicants will be given the chance to work on landmark projects in North Dublin. This role is from Monday – Friday 40 hours per week. After 40 hours, you will be paid an overtime rate/double-time. Upon completion of this contract, you may be giving the option to be made permanent.
