Our client, a leader in the hospitality and events industry, is looking for a full-time People Operations Manager for their Dublin 3 location (onsite only).
The role follows a 5-out-of-7-day work pattern, including weekend shifts during peak periods. Full flexibility is required year-round.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing People Operations team
- Drive workforce planning, scheduling, rota management, and deployment.
- Identify workforce gaps and implement effective solutions
- Utilise HR systems (e.g., Ubeya & SAP SuccessFactors) for efficiency
- Oversee high-volume recruitment and talent pipelines for permanent, casual, and seasonal staff
- Manage onboarding, induction, and annual welcome-back programmes
- Ensure compliance with Irish employment law and company policies
- Support managers on employee relations and performance management
- Lead employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Leverage data and analytics for workforce, payroll, and cost control decisions
- Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs for leadership
- Monitor key workforce metrics (labour cost, turnover, absenteeism, productivity)
- Provide operational HR support during major events
- Manage work permits and Right to Work documentation
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
- Support other business areas during high-demand periods as needed
- Uphold employee presentation and grooming standards across the site
What Skills You Need
Essential:
- 3-5 years in Operations management within hospitality, catering, events, or similar sectors
- Experience working with a high-volume seasonal workforce, preferably in a large location
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Analytical mindset with strong reporting capabilities
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Thrives in fast-paced, operational environments
Desirable:
- Experience in arenas, venues, or large-scale events
- Familiarity with HR and workforce management systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Ubeya)
- CIPD qualification
- Experience leading multi-functional teams (resourcing, payroll, L&D)
