Payroll Associate

About Your New Employer

Join a well-established chartered accountancy practice with a strong reputation for providing professional accounting and payroll services to a diverse client base. The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative and supportive team, providing payroll and bookkeeping services while ensuring accuracy, compliance and a high standard of client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
  • Manage PAYE, PRSI, USC, deductions and Revenue submissions in line with current legislation.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information.
  • Assist with bookkeeping duties, including recording financial transactions and maintaining financial records.
  • Respond to client payroll queries and support the wider accounting team as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 3 years' payroll experience, ideally within an accountancy practice.
  • IPASS payroll qualification is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation, PAYE, PRSI and USC.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
