About Your New Job
As the Part Qualified Accountant, you will:
- Be responsible for preparation of month-end accounts and management accounts.
- Lead periodic budgets and forecasts as the main point of contact for the division within the Finance Department.
- Prepare and submit all month-end and management accounts, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee accounting and reporting for Overheads and Advertising ledger codes, and handle bi-monthly VAT returns.
- Manage internal fleet pricing, month-end accounting, analysis, and reporting, working closely with the fleet team.
- Perform monthly and periodic dealer payments, account reconciliations, analysis, and financial reporting.
- Contribute to annual audits, month-end and periodic balance sheet reconciliations, and annual insurance submission.
- Ensure all internal controls are adhered to and provide cover for general administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain effective relationships with both internal colleagues and external partners.
What Skills You Need
- Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar) is essential.
- Proven experience in month-end and management accounts preparation.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and Excel skills; experience with ERP/accounting systems is an advantage.
- Availability to start immediately or within two weeks is essential.
