Part-Qualified Accountant (Final Stages) – Electronics Industry

Location: Dublin 22 (Office-Based)
Salary: Up to €55,000 + Excellent Benefits

An established and growing company within the Electronics industry is seeking a motivated and ambitious Part-Qualified Accountant to join its finance team based in Dublin 22.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant in the final stages of their professional qualification who is looking to broaden their experience within a dynamic SME environment and gain exposure to all aspects of the finance function.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day finance operations of the business while supporting the month-end process, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and support of monthly management accounts
  • Assist with month-end close activities and reconciliations
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the business
  • Analyse financial performance and provide reporting to management
  • Prepare variance analysis and commentary on financial results
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of financial controls
  • Assist with cashflow forecasting and working capital management
  • Support year-end audit preparation
  • Involvement in process improvement initiatives across the finance function
  • Participate in day-to-day finance duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities as required

Requirements

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Must be in the final stages of qualification with only 2–3 professional exams remaining
  • Currently working within an SME environment
  • Hands-on experience across month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent Excel and systems skills
  • Must hold a valid visa permitting employment in Ireland
