About Your New Job

• As a Machine Operator, you will operate, monitor, and carry out basic maintenance on production machinery to ensure effective and safe manufacturing processes.
• You will be responsible for setting up machines according to production schedules, monitoring outputs for quality, and performing routine checks.
• You will carry out cleaning and basic troubleshooting, identifying and escalating mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
• You will ensure products meet quality standards and record production data, reporting any deviations.
• You will follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and use PPE as required.
• You will support production line and product changeovers, working as part of a team to achieve targets and support continuous improvement.

What Skills You Need

• Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or food production setting.
• Good understanding of health & safety practices and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
• (Desirable) Experience in dairy or food production, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with HACCP or food safety systems.
