About Your New Job
- Report to the Packaging Team Lead, Test, Design and support the design function on new and existing projects.
- Be a key point of contact for CSI/Sales, Production, and Logistics teams regarding new designs and sample runs.
- Plan, prioritise, and execute the Design Centre Work Schedule, ensuring all samples meet expected quality standards.
- Manage documentation for Engineering Change Orders, tooling layouts/quotes, and production drawings.
- Create or modify artwork as required and participate in customer site visits with sales representatives.
- Oversee Design Centre updates, supplies stock levels, lab presentation, and waste management.
- Implement quality control systems and adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements (ISO Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety).
- Support maintenance of Test Lab & Design Centre equipment, including calibration and software updates.
- Assist with CAD Table Operative training and project work with the US Team.
- Attend relevant classes or seminars and perform additional duties as required by management.
What Skills You Need
- 2-3 years’ experience in a design or engineering capacity, ideally within packaging or a related industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software and strong attention to detail with documentation control.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
