About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a successful and rapidly growing retail and wholesale business looking to appoint a Senior Operations Manager to join their leadership team..
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support and develop a small operational team.
- Oversee daily order processing across domestic and international markets.
- Improve operational efficiency and help implement scalable processes.
- Work closely with the Directors to deliver business objectives.
- Monitor warehouse operations, stock management and inventory accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement across systems and workflows.
- Analyse operational performance using Sage and Excel.
- Assist with day-to-day operational tasks when required, including order processing and warehouse support.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Proven management experience within retail, wholesale, distribution or a similar operational environment.
- Experience working in a growing SME or owner-managed business.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with warehouse operations, stock control and process improvement.
- Good working knowledge of Sage and Microsoft Excel.
- A proactive, adaptable and hands-on approach.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.
