About Your New Job
As the General Manager, you will:
- Work closely with the CEO to set organisational vision, define operational strategies, and drive company-wide growth initiatives.
- Translate strategy into actionable plans, ensuring that team performance and operations align with ambitious business objectives.
- Take ownership of all company operations including HR, accounting, compliance, and network management—fostering a highly inclusive culture and leading from the front.
- Oversee performance management, professional development, recruitment, and retention to build and maintain a thriving team.
- Lead business development, key stakeholder relationships, and marketing strategy to drive growth in a competitive landscape.
- Deliver operational excellence by researching and implementing new technology solutions, optimising cost-effectiveness, and managing resources efficiently.
What Skills You Need
- Engineering or technical background—essential for understanding, troubleshooting, and advancing our network infrastructure.
- Significant experience in fibre/wireless communications, preferably in a similar small business or start-up environment.
- Proven track record in managing teams and company operations—including HR, financials, strategic planning, and compliance.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, combined with a curiosity for technology and ability to take initiative.
- Business acumen with a creative approach to problem-solving and growth.
