About Your New Job
As the Office Manager / Project Coordinator, you will become the organisational hub of the business. Working fully onsite, you will coordinate information, schedules and communication between customers, suppliers, colleagues and operational teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers and suppliers by phone and email.
- Coordinating customer orders, projects, deliveries and installation schedules.
- Liaising with warehouse, delivery and installation teams to ensure work stays on track.
- Preparing invoices and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Managing day-to-day office administration and organisation.
- Communicating updates clearly across the business and proactively resolving issues.
- Supporting customer service queries and helping to maintain strong client relationships.
- Ordering office supplies and materials where required.
- Assisting with social media and marketing activity, where appropriate.
- Working closely with management on operational and administrative tasks.
This is a varied position suited to someone who enjoys taking responsibility, solving problems and working independently in a small office environment.
What Skills You Need
- Previous experience in office management, project coordination, logistics coordination, construction administration or a similar role.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when managing schedules, invoices, orders and business information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong spelling and grammar.
- The ability to organise, prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to use your own initiative.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- A calm, professional, approachable and accountable working style.
Experience in construction, engineering, logistics, manufacturing or trade environments would be advantageous but is not essential. Social media experience would also be beneficial.
