Fit-out Operative Required – Baldonnell, Dublin

About Your New Employer
Our client is a well-established interiors and fit-out company with a strong presence across Dublin. They specialise in commercial interiors, furniture installation, relocation, and fit-out services, working with a range of office and commercial clients.
Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Fit-out Operative to join their team based in Baldonnell, Dublin.
This is a semi-mobile role, with regular travel to offices and commercial sites across Dublin. When you are not working on-site, you will be based in the warehouse supporting the day-to-day operation.

About Your New Job
As a Fit-out Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out furniture moves, repairs, installations, and general fit-out duties at client offices across Dublin.
You will also spend time working in the warehouse, preparing furniture and equipment for jobs, organising stock, and ensuring materials are ready for delivery and installation.
The ideal candidate will be practical, reliable, physically capable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Travelling to offices and commercial sites across Dublin to carry out furniture moves, repairs, installations, and general fit-out works.
  • Moving, assembling, dismantling, and positioning office furniture.
  • Carrying out basic furniture repairs and maintenance where required.
  • Loading and unloading furniture, equipment, and materials safely.
  • Operating a forklift safely and efficiently within the warehouse and on-site where required.
  • Supporting the warehouse team with receiving, storing, organising, and preparing stock.
  • Preparing furniture and equipment for upcoming fit-out and relocation projects.
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
  • Ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are maintained and available when required.
  • Working professionally when attending client offices and commercial premises.
  • Following all health & safety procedures and company guidelines.
  • Carrying out general warehouse and fit-out duties as required.


What Skills You Need
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in a fit-out, furniture installation, warehouse, construction, maintenance, or similar role.
  • A valid forklift license – essential.
  • Good practical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to carry out basic repairs and furniture assembly.
  • The ability to safely lift and move furniture and other materials.
  • A full clean driving license would be an advantage due to the semi-mobile nature of the role.
  • Good communication skills and a professional manner when dealing with clients.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
  • A flexible approach to working between the warehouse and various client sites across Dublin.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • A good understanding of health & safety procedures.
