The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Administrator to support our extremely busy Maintenance Department.

This is a hands on administrative role where multitasking, attention to detail, strong organisation, and the ability to stay calm under pressure are essential. The successful candidate will be capable of working autonomously and proactively, while also collaborating closely and effectively with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and prioritising two very busy email inboxes and office phones
  • Handling customer enquiries and queries with a focus on efficient issue resolution
  • Preparing quotes, proposals, contract renewals, and customer documentation
  • Supporting daily operational activities within the Maintenance Department
  • Logging calls and updating records on the in‑house system (training provided)
  • Managing calendars, appointments, and general scheduling
  • Document management and filing
  • Flagging urgent issues to the relevant internal teams

About You

  • Previous experience in a service or maintenance department is an advantage
  • Proven experience in an administrator / office support role
  • Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail
  • A confident multitasker able to manage competing priorities
  • Professional, enthusiastic, and solutions‑focused
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Strong customer service and relationship‑management skills
  • Excellent IT skills, including CRM / database experience
