About Your New Job
- Deliver on-the-spot diagnostics and repairs , ensuring safety and quick resolutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and reassure members during stressful roadside situations.
- Respond rapidly to breakdowns, flat tyres, battery issues, and a range of general vehicle failures.
- Clearly communicate technical information and repair options to members with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain and operate equipment and fully-outfitted patrol vehicles to the highest standards.
- Uphold rigorous safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and customers.
- Accurately complete service reports and documentation for all call-outs and repairs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and escalate complex repairs when needed.
What Skills You Need
- QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Motor Mechanics (apprenticeship completed).
- Over 3 years experience working as a Mechanic.
- Strong mechanical and electrical vehicle systems knowledge.
- Full Driver’s Licence essential;
- Excellent communication and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
