Your new employer is one of Ireland’s leading building services and facilities maintenance contractors, providing integrated mechanical, electrical, and building fabric maintenance solutions to clients across commercial, industrial, healthcare, and retail sectors. They are looking to add a Maintenance Plumber to there team based in the Midlands / Portlaoise area.

About Your New Role

They currently seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Plumber to join our expanding maintenance team. The successful candidate will carry out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance works on a high a profile clients retails sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive plumbing repairs across multiple commercial and industrial sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults on plumbing systems, hot and cold water services, drainage, and sanitary ware.
  • Carry out installation and replacement of plumbing fixtures, valves, pumps, and pipework as required.
  • Work closely with the Helpdesk and Facilities Management team to ensure timely completion of works and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Complete job reports, service records, and documentation accurately using mobile work order systems.
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures and health & safety regulations.
  • Liaise with clients and site representatives professionally to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Participate in the on-call rota for emergency callouts (as required).

What Skills you Need

  • Fully qualified trade qualified Plumber is ESSENTIAL.
  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in plumbing maintenance, preferably within commercial or facilities management environments.
  • Strong knowledge of water systems, drainage, and general plumbing installations.
  • Experience with building management systems (BMS) and HVAC-related plant desirable but not essential.
  • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification (current).
  • Full, clean Irish driving licence (company van provided). ESSENTIAL.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service.
