They are now seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical installations on commercial and residential projects across the Greater Dublin area.
About Your New Job
Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day mechanical installation works, coordinating the site team to deliver safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
- Supervise mechanical installations from first fix through to commissioning.
- Coordinate direct labour, subcontractors and apprentices.
- Plan daily and weekly activities, including labour, materials and deliveries.
- Coordinate works with the Project Manager, design team and main contractor.
- Monitor installation quality, productivity and progress against programme.
- Attend site coordination and progress meetings.
- Resolve technical and installation issues.
- Ensure compliance with site health and safety requirements.
What You’ll Need
- A trade qualification in Plumbing or Pipefitting.
- 10+ years’ experience on mechanical building services projects.
- Experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, Site Manager or Foreman. Experienced Chargehands ready to take on greater responsibility will also be considered.
- Experience on residential, commercial or industrial projects.
- The ability to manage site teams, organise workloads and coordinate subcontractors.
- Confidence reading mechanical drawings and resolving site issues.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
