About Your New Job
- As the Mechanical Site Supervisor, you will oversee all mechanical works on residential project sites in Cork, ensuring projects are delivered safely, to specification, and on schedule.
- Lead, coordinate, and supervise mechanical fitters, pipefitters, plumbers, and subcontractors to ensure work meets design, quality, and programme requirements.
- Review and interpret mechanical and piping drawings, manage daily and weekly work schedules, and allocate tasks to the site teams efficiently.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with project engineers, clients, and other trades to support seamless project delivery, manage materials and equipment needs, and carry out quality inspections and progress reporting.
What Skills You Need
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or Plumber, or relevant mechanical engineering background with proven experience supervising mechanical works.
- At least 3 years’ supervisory experience on residential or commercial construction projects.
- Full, clean Irish Class B driver's licence.
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations; Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification essential.
