About Your New Job
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will:
- Generate and manage project schedules in collaboration with the project team.
- Monitor project progress and prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports.
- Lead project engineering submissions, value engineering, procurement, and materials management.
- Oversee project build reviews, coordinate with co-contractors, and ensure seamless project delivery.
- Design and model in 3D using Autodesk 3D software, ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, and safety.
- Interact with clients, construction management teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
- Carry out quality control through inspections, snagging, and walk-downs of P&IDs and layout drawings.
What Skills You Need
- Relevant third-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
- Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in mechanical project engineering.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and piping systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software systems.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate detailed reports.
- A full clean Irish Driver's Licence - Class B.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
