About Your New Job

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will:

  • Generate and manage project schedules in collaboration with the project team.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports.
  • Lead project engineering submissions, value engineering, procurement, and materials management.
  • Oversee project build reviews, coordinate with co-contractors, and ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Design and model in 3D using Autodesk 3D software, ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Interact with clients, construction management teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Carry out quality control through inspections, snagging, and walk-downs of P&IDs and layout drawings.

What Skills You Need

  • Relevant third-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in mechanical project engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and piping systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software systems.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate detailed reports.
  • A full clean Irish Driver's Licence - Class B.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
