About Your New Job

As the Mechanical Maintenance Fitter / Supervisor, you will be supporting maintenance and installation works across water and wastewater treatment plants.

You will be:

  • Carrying out mechanical maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and installation works on pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, and pipework systems
  • Supporting preventative and reactive maintenance activities across treatment plant environments
  • Supervising and mentoring team members while ensuring Health & Safety and HSQE standards are maintained on-site
  • Completing inspections, fault-finding, refurbishment works, and customer support activities when required

This is a hands-on role with strong involvement across both maintenance and supervisory responsibilities.

What Skills You Need

To apply, you will need:

  • Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent
  • Experience within water / wastewater or utilities environments
  • Strong experience working on pumps, pumping systems, motors, and gearboxes
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions on-site
  • Full driving licence
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience would be a strong advantage
