About Your New Job
As the Mechanical Maintenance Fitter / Supervisor, you will be supporting maintenance and installation works across water and wastewater treatment plants.
You will be:
- Carrying out mechanical maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and installation works on pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, and pipework systems
- Supporting preventative and reactive maintenance activities across treatment plant environments
- Supervising and mentoring team members while ensuring Health & Safety and HSQE standards are maintained on-site
- Completing inspections, fault-finding, refurbishment works, and customer support activities when required
This is a hands-on role with strong involvement across both maintenance and supervisory responsibilities.
What Skills You Need
To apply, you will need:
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent
- Experience within water / wastewater or utilities environments
- Strong experience working on pumps, pumping systems, motors, and gearboxes
- Ability to work independently and make decisions on-site
- Full driving licence
- Supervisory or team leadership experience would be a strong advantage
