About Your New Job:
We are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Foreman to oversee mechanical operations for our client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supervising mechanical projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and leading a team of skilled technicians. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to dynamic projects in a supportive environment with some of the main job duties listed below:
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical technicians, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety regulations.
- Review project specifications and plans to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports on labor, materials, and safety compliance.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices on-site.
What Skills You Need
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Foreman or in a similar role within ideally the pharmaceutical or plant industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid trade license and relevant certifications (e.g., Safe Pass, Manual Handling) are preferred.
