About Your New Job

As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll be responsible for the assembly and installation of mechanical equipment and pipework within modular units. Your duties will include the installation of pumps and associated accessories, dosing pump cabinets, level sensors, flow meters, and uPVC pipework systems. Working from technical drawings and project specifications, you'll ensure all installations are completed to a high standard while adhering to strict quality and safety procedures.

You'll work closely with engineers, supervisors, and fellow tradespeople throughout the build process, helping to deliver fully assembled modular units ready for commissioning and deployment. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity offering consistent hours and the chance to work on a wide range of interesting engineering projects.

What Skills You Need

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Technician
  • Experience installing pumps, valves, pipework, and mechanical equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Experience working with uPVC pipework and fittings is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to changing project requirements
