About Your New Job

As the Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will:

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure safety compliance.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers.
  • Ensure fulfilment of contractual obligations per industry standards.
  • Track expenses, analyse cost variances, and implement corrective measures.
  • Manage change orders, claims, and disputes transparently.
  • Lead and motivate a team of engineers and subcontractors.
  • Communicate project progress and milestones clearly.
  • Identify and secure opportunities for additional work or project expansion.
  • Implement quality control measures and conduct compliance inspections.
  • Address non-conformities and implement corrective actions
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.

What Skills You Need

  • Proven experience in mechanical contracting, project management, and contract administration.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems, regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license.
