About Your New Job

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will:

• Identify and implement process improvements, tools, jigs, and methods to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Support waste elimination and efficiency using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing lines, ensuring consistent and efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment, tooling, process, or material issues.
• Perform line set-ups, routine/preventative maintenance, and operate production equipment.
• Participate in process development for new and existing products, including verification and validation testing.
• Maintain accurate GMP-compliant documentation, batch records, and technical logs.
• Conduct in-process inspections, functional testing, non-conformance investigations, and maintain quality system documentation.
• Provide input for risk assessments and FMEAs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for line validations, engineering builds, and product transfers.
• Support training of product builders on processes and work instructions.
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, actively participating in safety initiatives.

What Skills You Need as a Manufacturing Technician:

• Third-level qualification in a relevant technical field.
• 2–5 years hands-on experience in medical device manufacturing, with a focus on operating and maintaining production equipment and supporting process improvements.
• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 13485, MDR, and FDA regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with an ability to work effectively in teams or autonomously.
• Good documentation practices (GDP) and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of cleanroom manufacturing processes and methodologies.
• Ability to read technical drawings, process diagrams, and equipment manuals.
