About Your New Job
- As a Maintenance Technician (Fitter) – Nights, you will ensure optimal equipment uptime and reliability across the manufacturing site by performing planned and unplanned maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment.
- You will diagnose equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions while supporting health, safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Working Monday–Friday night shifts, you’ll participate in machine upgrades, maintenance routines, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will also assist with new equipment qualification, sourcing parts, and regulatory audits.
What Skills You Need
- Trade-certified Mechanical Qualification.
- Minimum 4 years’ maintenance and troubleshooting experience in a highly automated production environment (pharma, biotech, or similar regulated area preferred).
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and automation systems.
- Proven diagnostic, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of GMP, compliance, and health & safety requirements.
- Experience with machining, welding, and interpreting pneumatic/hydraulic schematics beneficial.
