About Your New Job
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in keeping production equipment reliable, efficient and operating safely within a high-speed manufacturing environment.
You will:
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on site equipment and machinery, helping to minimise downtime and maintain production performance.
- Support the engineering and operations teams in achieving site KPIs and equipment performance targets.
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical, automation and control systems, including Siemens PLCs, HMI and SCADA systems.
- Work with instrumentation and process control equipment, including pumps, valves and associated instruments.
- Take responsibility for assigned engineering projects and support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Health & Safety, technical and food hygiene standards.
What Skills You Need
- A recognised Electrical Qualification.
- Experience working in a high-speed manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, with experience in automation and Siemens PLCs desirable.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA, instrumentation and process control systems.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional engineering team.
- Flexibility to work across varying shift patterns.
