Maintenance Technician – Evening Shift (4 Day Week)

About Your New Job

  • As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and optimisation of specialist production equipment during the evening shift (Monday – Thursday, 4.30pm to 3am).
  • You will execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules, troubleshoot technical issues, and keep detailed maintenance records in line with site procedures.
  • Collaborate with equipment manufacturers and senior team members to resolve complex issues and implement equipment improvements.
  • Champion on-site safety, ensuring all activities comply with the highest health and safety standards.
  • Manage core mechanical alignments and configurations to support high-quality product manufacturing.

What Skills You Need

  • Recognised Mechanical or Maintenance Engineering qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems (full training will be given for site-specific controls).
  • Previous experience in manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, particularly under time pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and solid awareness of health and safety regulations.
  • Willingness to work evening shifts and contribute in a team environment.
