About Your New Job
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery. Working as part of the maintenance team, you will help minimise downtime while supporting the safe and efficient running of the manufacturing facility.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise equipment performance and reliability.
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and assisting with troubleshooting alongside equipment manufacturers and senior engineers.
- Performing mechanical alignments and equipment adjustments to maintain production quality.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and completing documentation in line with company procedures.
- Promoting a strong health and safety culture and ensuring all work is completed safely.
What Skills You Need
- A recognised Mechanical or Maintenance Engineering qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on mechanical experience.
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Good written and spoken English for reporting and communicating with equipment suppliers.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively within a shift-based team.
