About Your New Job

  • As the Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the smooth functioning and general upkeep of all manufacturing areas and support facilities, rapidly resolving technical issues as they arise.
  • You will develop procedures to make operations more efficient, emphasizing inventory controls, reducing waste, and fine-tuning workflow processes.
  • Work closely with management to align maintenance priorities with changing business needs and offer strategic support when required.
  • Oversee and optimize spending related to facilities and equipment, always seeking opportunities for cost improvement.
  • Design and update plans for emergency incidents, ensuring safety standards are maintained for everyone onsite.
  • Take charge of regular and preventative engineering work, including troubleshooting and repairing production machinery.
  • Identify technical issues using PLC diagnostics, driving continuous improvements on the factory floor.

What Skills You Need

  • At least 3 years working in a similar role within manufacturing, ideally in a regulated, high-output environment.
  • Fully qualified Electrician (National Craft Senior Trades or similar certification required).
  • Background in Lean Six Sigma settings advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Residency and work eligibility for full-time roles in Ireland.
  • Understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations considered a plus.
