About Your New Job
- Carry out electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on production machinery and automated equipment.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, motors, drives, sensors, and other electrical control systems.
- Respond promptly to production breakdowns and work closely with production teams to restore operations safely and efficiently.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining accurate maintenance records and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
What Skills You Need
To be successful in this role you should have:
- A recognised Electrical Trade Qualification.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Maintenance Electrician within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding experience on automated production equipment, including PLC-controlled machinery, motors, drives, sensors, and industrial control systems.
- Experience with preventative maintenance systems and CMMS software, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
