Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Maintenance Project Manager to join their expanding Facilities team.

About Your New Role

As Maintenance Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing planned and reactive maintenance projects across a portfolio of client sites. You will oversee service providers and contractors, manage client relationships, coordinate maintenance activities and small projects, while ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage suppliers and service providers, ensuring contractual obligations are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and resolving facilities-related issues.
  • Prepare for, lead and coordinate client maintenance meetings, ensuring actions and follow-ups are completed.
  • Coordinate maintenance projects, fit-outs and reactive works, identifying and removing potential project roadblocks.
  • Prepare quotations for reactive works, maintenance call-outs and additional client requests.
  • Carry out site inspections during complex maintenance activities and assess additional project requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation and management of operational and maintenance budgets.
  • Monitor expenditure, process purchase orders, invoices and project cost variations while identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Supervise contractors and ensure all works comply with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Work closely with the Health & Safety team to review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call rota.
  • Carry out any additional duties as required to support the Facilities Division.

What You Need 

  • Previous experience in a Maintenance Project Manager, Facilities Manager or similar role within facilities management, construction or building services.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.
  • Proven experience managing multiple contractors and hard services providers.
  • Experience managing maintenance budgets, purchase orders, invoices and project financials.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Full clean driving licence and own transport.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when required.
