About Your New Job

As the Maintenance Manager, you will lead the maintenance function, ensuring maximum equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and safety across the manufacturing site.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing maintenance team while promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Planning and coordinating preventative, predictive, corrective, and improvement maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
  • Managing maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and contractor performance to achieve cost and operational targets.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles, root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Monitoring maintenance KPIs, analysing performance trends, and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Supporting factory energy management initiatives to improve sustainability and reduce energy consumption.

What Skills You Need

  • Engineering qualification or recognised trade apprenticeship.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience leading a Maintenance or Production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean Manufacturing.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing maintenance budgets, KPIs, and performance improvement initiatives.
