About Your New Job

  • As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all maintenance and repair activities for equipment, machinery, and building systems on site.
  • You will develop, implement, and manage proactive maintenance strategies to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
  • You will lead, coach, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, allocating tasks based on skills and providing regular performance feedback.
  • You will manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules, aiming to optimize asset uptime and reliability.
  • You will oversee spare parts inventory, vendor relationships, and the maintenance budget, seeking cost-efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
  • You will drive continuous improvement initiatives using Root Cause Analysis and cultivate a safety-driven workplace culture.

What Skills You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • At least 5 years’ experience in maintenance management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven leadership experience managing a team of technicians and maintenance projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, machinery, and building systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies and use of CMMS.
  • Excellent communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible to work varied hours and handle physical demands typical of a plant environment.
