My client is an established manufacturing company that provides engineering and production services to industrial customers.

About Your New Job

  • Lead all maintenance activities for CNC machines, automation systems, plant equipment, vehicles, and facilities to ensure maximum reliability and uptime.
  • Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs, diagnose faults, and coordinate repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
  • Support the implementation of automation, robotics, lights-out machining, and Industry 4.0 initiatives, including new machinery and automated process improvements.
  • Manage maintenance assets, spare parts inventory, suppliers, contractors, and maintenance records to ensure efficient operations and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while driving continuous improvement and identifying training and development needs.

What Skills You Need

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in maintenance, working on CNC machines within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment faults efficiently, minimising downtime.
  • Sound technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Experience of, or familiarity with, automation, robotics and Industry 4.0 technologies, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and modern manufacturing practices. (desirable)
