Static Maintenance Electrician – Dublin City Centre

We're currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global facilities management company for an experienced Static Maintenance Electrician to join a prestigious commercial site in Dublin City Centre.

This is a permanent, site-based role offering excellent job security, a supportive team environment, and genuine opportunities for training and career progression.

The Role

As part of the on-site engineering team, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across a modern commercial building, ensuring all electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults across building services.
  • Perform routine inspections, testing and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Complete PPM tasks in line with maintenance schedules.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and minimise downtime.
  • Accurately complete maintenance reports and job records.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations.
  • Work closely with the wider engineering team to deliver a high standard of service.

Requirements

  • Qualified Electrician with a recognised electrical trade qualification.
  • Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience carrying out both PPM and reactive maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of health & safety and electrical compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
