About Your New Job
- Carry out daily maintenance support tasks, including checking and replenishing coolant, oils and machine lubricants.
- Clean and maintain CNC machines, workshop equipment, swarf bins and general work areas to a high standard.
- Monitor coolant concentration and stock levels, ensuring supplies are available and replenished as required.
- Carry out basic machine greasing, spill clean-up and minor repairs under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Operate a forklift when required and provide support to shipping, receiving and general workshop activities.
What Skills You Need
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering or maintenance environment.
- Good practical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to carry out basic maintenance and cleaning tasks.
- Forklift experience/licence is desirable, with a strong focus on health, safety and correct PPE use.
