About Your New Job

  • Support the development and implementation of automated inspection solutions using machine vision and image processing, contributing to design, installation, maintenance, and innovation projects.
  • Assist in vision system design, including hardware selection, application configuration, and troubleshooting to improve equipment performance.
  • Provide commissioning and technical support through testing, root cause analysis, and resolution of machine vision issues on production equipment.
  • Contribute to software and algorithm development using tools such as Cognex and Keyence, supporting image processing tasks like measurement, OCR, and pass/fail inspection logic.
  • Collaborate across teams to support data handling, system optimization, compliance, documentation, testing, and continuous improvement in machine vision and automation technologies.

What Skills You Need

  • Level 8 NFQ qualification (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
  • 3+ years’ experience in machine vision, automation, or equipment engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with machine vision systems (preferably Keyence XG/XGX or Cognex In-Sight/Designer/VisionPro), supported by strong math, image processing, and automation/PLC knowledge.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication skills and a practical, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (e.g. medical devices or pharmaceuticals), including validation, commissioning, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
