Legal Counsel - Waterford - Industry - €80k plus benefits -
Main duties
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and legal documentation.
- Providing practical, commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders.
- Working closely with members of the Senior Management Team on strategic business initiatives and
key commercial projects. - Supporting legal matters relating to renewable energy and infrastructure projects, primarily in Ireland.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and legal documentation.
- Supporting the identification, assessment and management of legal risks across the organisation.
- Liaising with external legal advisers in Ireland and the UK.
- Assisting with dispute management, regulatory matters and governance activities.
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments impacting the business.
- Contributing to wider risk management and compliance initiatives across the business
Experience
- Qualified Solicitor
- Degree in Law
- Minimum of 2–5 years' post qualification experience (PQE) in a commercial legal environment, either in private practice or inhouse.
- Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts and legal documentation.
- Experience providing practical, commercially focused legal advice to business stakeholders and senior leaders..
