Our client is a leading global facilities management organisation, seeking an experienced Lead Technician to join the technical team at one of Dublin’s premier conference and events venues.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-profile, modern facility that hosts major national and international events, with responsibility for maintaining critical mechanical, electrical and building services systems.
About Your New Role
As Lead Technician, you will supervise planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical and fabric services.
Working closely with technicians, clients and the Helpdesk, you will ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and within agreed SLAs and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise planned preventative and reactive maintenance across building systems.
- Oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance, repairs and installations.
- Respond to technical issues and site engineering emergencies.
- Liaise with Helpdesk, technicians and clients to ensure timely completion of works.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work order documentation.
- Ensure appropriate RAMS, spares and materials are available.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
- Support continuous improvement and technical innovation.
- Provide on-call cover when required.
What You Need
- Trade qualification in either electrical or mechanical.
- 5+ years facilities / maintenance experience.
- Ideally management or supervisory experience leading a team
- Strong mechanical and electrical building services knowledge.
- Experience supervising technical maintenance works.
- Knowledge of BMS.
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours when required.
