Landscape Labourer Required in Mayfield, Cork

Our client is a well-established company specialising in the design, installation, and development of outdoor play and landscaping environments. Due to continued growth and ongoing projects, they are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys working outdoors and is looking to develop their experience in landscaping, groundworks, and manual labour.

About Your New Job
As a Landscape Labourer, you will play an important role in supporting the successful delivery of landscaping and outdoor construction projects. You will work as part of a team carrying out a range of practical and manual tasks, helping to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with general landscaping and groundworks duties.
  • Carrying out manual labour tasks as required on site.
  • Preparing and clearing work areas before, during, and after projects.
  • Assisting with the installation of landscaping features and outdoor equipment.
  • Moving and handling materials, tools, and equipment safely.
  • Supporting skilled tradespeople and other members of the site team.
  • Using hand tools and basic equipment as required.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment.
  • Following all health & safety procedures and wearing the appropriate PPE.
  • Carrying out any other duties as required to support the successful completion of projects.


What Skills You Need
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in landscaping, construction, groundworks, or a similar manual labour role is preferred.
  • A valid Safe Pass (essential).
  • Manual Handling certification (essential).
  • A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to carry out manual labour and outdoor work.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to get stuck in.
  • A strong awareness of health & safety practices.
