About Your New Job
As a Junior Pensions Consultant, no two days will be the same. You’ll play a key role in bringing pensions to life, making complex information easy to understand and helping members make the most of the benefits available to them.
Your role will include:
- Delivering engaging presentations both in person and virtually to pension scheme members across multiple schemes.
- Bringing pension benefits to life, explaining options and retirement processes in a clear, engaging and accessible way.
- Supporting member engagement campaigns, answering follow-up queries and helping members understand the value of Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs).
- Adapting your communication style to connect with a wide range of audiences, from site-based employees to members approaching retirement.
- Building strong relationships with members and internal teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience.
- Helping shape engaging communication materials that make pensions and financial planning easier for members to understand.
What Skills Do You Need?
- QFA qualification.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to make complex topics easy to understand.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage both large audiences and individuals.
- A highly organised, motivated and goal-oriented approach, with the ability to manage your own diary and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in pensions, financial services or employee benefits would be a distinct advantage.
