About Your New Job

As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll support the delivery of HVAC and plumbing installations on a range of medium to large-scale projects. Working alongside senior engineers, project managers and site teams, you’ll assist with:

  • Mechanical design reviews and coordination of drawings.
  • Preparing take-offs, schedules and technical submittals.
  • Procurement of plant and equipment in line with project specifications.
  • Supporting site supervision, quality checks and progress reporting.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors to resolve queries.
  • Contributing to commissioning and handover documentation.

This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience while learning how mechanical services projects are planned, installed and delivered.

What Skills You Need

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (or currently completing).
  • 1 year's experience in a building services engineering role.
  • Strong interest in HVAC, plumbing and general building services.
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit is an advantage.
  • Organised, proactive and eager to develop technical and site-based skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
