My client a leading financial services global organisation is looking to recruit an Investment Manager who will be responsible for the management of international and US based equity portfolios.

About Your New Employer

The client provides investment management services to clients through retail and institutional distribution channels. They specialise in the management of asset allocation solutions to help investors reach their financial goals.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Execute daily equity trading activities across individual client portfolios for standalone
  • Monitor and maintain portfolio performance, execution and risk metrics
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal trading partners
  • Manage individual client portfolios using complex portfolio construction techniques
  • Develop skills in portfolio manager research on portfolio construction, and business cycle positioning

What Skills You Need in this Job

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance/accounting/economics/mathematics related
  • 5+ years investment experience in research, portfolio management, or trading
  • Awareness of portfolio optimisation tools such as Axioma and risk models like Barra
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills around oversight of portfolio holdings & risk exposures
  • Experience using either FactSet or Bloomberg ideally
  • Skilled in advanced programming languages like R, Python and SQL strongly preferred
