About Your New Job
As an HVAC Engineer / Air Conditioning Service Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering installation, maintenance, and repair services across a range of commercial and industrial projects.
This is a hands-on position where you will work independently on HVAC systems while also supporting junior engineers and apprentices within the team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Install, service, maintain, and repair air conditioning and HVAC systems across customer sites.
- Diagnose faults, complete breakdown repairs, and provide effective technical solutions.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency call-outs when required.
- Work on leading HVAC systems including Mitsubishi, Toshiba, and Daikin equipment.
- Support junior engineers and assist with mentoring and signing off apprentices where required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while following F-Gas regulations and industry standards.
What Skills You Need
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Completed Refrigeration and Air Conditioning apprenticeship (SOLAS qualification required).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working as an HVAC / Air Conditioning Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC installation, servicing, fault finding, and maintenance.
- Experience working with commercial air conditioning systems.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Ability to work independently, manage customer sites, and communicate professionally.
- Knowledge of F-Gas regulations and relevant health & safety requirements.
