About Your New Employer:

Our client is within the construction industry and located in Dublin 22. They are looking for a permanent, full time HR Manager that will work fully onsite, 5 days a week.

This role will require previous management experience, with one direct report working underneath them.

About Your New Role:

  • Act as strategic advisor to senior leadership on HR, culture and organisational matters
  • Lead change management initiatives and support growth, restructuring or transformation
  • Define and evolve a positive, inclusive, and high-performance company culture
  • Design and implement initiatives for employee engagement, wellbeing and culture
  • Monitor employee sentiment through surveys, feedback and engagement metrics
  • Implement and maintain HR policies that reflect legislation and company values
  • Monitor and maintain internal HR systems, employee databases and records
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy in employee documentation and people movement processes
  • Manage payroll reporting and coordinate with the finance team
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment including employer branding and partnering with line managers
  • Design and oversee onboarding programmes
  • Manage the performance management cycle and coach managers through the respective processes
  • Develop L&D programmes aligned with business and cultural needs
  • Manage employee relations matters including leading investigations and coaching managers on managing related issues
  • Act as an escalation point for complex or sensitive employee cases
  • Monitor and manage absence trends
  • Produce detailed reports to leadership on HR costs, metrics and workforce trends
  • Review, manage, and approve HR budgets
  • Act as trusted point of contact for employees on compensation, policies and labour regulations
  • Foster an open, transparent, and people-oriented HR function


What Skills You Need:

  • 3 or more years’ experience in an HR Management role, including people management
  • Experience in the construction industry preferred, or related industries
  • Level 8 HR/Business related degree
  • Working knowledge of Irish employment legislation and its application
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Time Management systems, and HRIS systems 
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
